Southwest Spay/Neuter Program
Baltimore City Residents are now eligible for the $20 Healthy Pet Package with Baltimore County’s Southwest Spay/Neuter Program. Schedule your appointment online or call 410-887-2938 for more details.
Pet owners who live in one of these zip codes: 21201, 21202, 21215, 21216, 21217, 21218, 21223, and 21229 are eligible for free cat or dog spay/neuter surgery, rabies & distemper vaccines, a nail trim, and a microchip for dogs at the Maryland SPCA. There are a limited number of these free surgery spots available for the year, so sign up as soon as possible. Please contact them at 410-899-SPAY (7729) or firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to mention your zip code to sign up for the free program.
Baltimore City residents in other neighborhoods, pit bull owners, and people with proof of low income may be eligible for low-cost surgeries at the Maryland SPCA. Baltimore County Animal Services
Free and low-cost spay/neuters by appointment in their three facilities:
Main Facility, 13800 Manor Road, Baldwin
Spay and Neuter Center, 7702 Dunmanway, Dundalk
Southwest Area Park Spay and Neuter Facility, 3941 Klunk Drive, Brooklyn
In Baltimore County, these ZIP codes qualify for free spay/neuter for cats and dogs at the facility indicated:
Dundalk facility: 21219, 21220, 21221, 21222, 21224 and 21237
Southwest Area Park facility: 21207, 21227 and 21244.
All three facilities also offer free spay or neuter for cats and pit bulls to low-income County residents with a 9-digit client ID. All of the county's free spay/neuter services also include a microchip, rabies vaccine and a County license, as needed.
For all other Baltimore County residents, dogs and cats may be spayed or neutered, and receive other valuable services including vaccines, a license, dewormer, and a microchip for a low-cost fee of only $20. Find more details here:
